After weeks of procrastination, I have finally booked our flights.

I am now feeling a little faint at how many miles have gone out of my account , and very excited about going on holiday, booked in CW for the first time (business travel in CW doesn't count). We're off to HKG! I was very pleased at the redemption availability -although we are booking quite a few months in advance.

The booking process was very stressful - booking our flights individually, and hoping that the redemption availability would still be there for the second ticket, and making sure I booked the same flights for both of us. However, now it's booked and I've had a G&T and a glass of wine I'm feeling better.

So, for me there's a full miles redemption, and Mr flyingbee has an MFU. To get the rest of the TPs for his silver card, I will book Mr flyingbee CE for two trips back to the UK, and I will slum it down the back in ET.

Next dilemma is which are the best upper deck seats to choose! Mr flyingbee has never been on the upper deck and he's already excited. 64J&K or 62J&K?

Thanks to the BA FT board for all the info over the last five years that has made me able to make the most of our miles and TPs and make this long awaited redemption. ^
