FWIW, I just yesterday arranged a trip in August using SkyBonus upgrade coupons (these have always worked just like PMUs) which were expiring tomorrow.

Traditionally, one has usually been able to use old tickets and coupons that have a one year shelf life as long as they had been turned into new tickets before their expiration.
