Have to agree with Hiddy here. It is the failed leadership of the team and the FFF (Fédération Française de Football) that is the problem. It has been going on for years and has finally come to a head. If all the players revolt, as it seems they have, then it is the leaders whom have failed.
I think Anelka is a bit of a hero for forcing the issue. Now Laurent Blanc can come into a fresh team, I hope, once this has been sorted.
Well, I support the opinion that Domenech should have gone a long time ago, but that doesn't give the right to any player to say that to his coach. Domenech's authority needs to be respected, otherwise Anelka shouldn't have willingly joined the team.
Imagine the howling in the English press about "prima donnas" and the like had that been John Terry or Wayne Rooney saying that to Sven or Fabio.
It would seem that the FFF is now in a bit of a mess, though:
