Just as they said the other day the CUN route would be from LHR! Why are you relying on Wikipedia - they're almost as bad as the Mail for news!!

Strong rumours of more long hauls coming to LGW. The North Terminal is undergoing lots of refurb and I've been told there will be another Pier built soon with an underground transit link to the terminal. So would make lots of sense for BA to continue to expand the long haul network at LGW. Though I think we need to get more feeder routes from Germany, Spain and France - most of our flights to these destinations went to LHR a couple of years ago.
