If I, as an OR nurse, cannot even push the button to get a radiologic image with the supervising surgeon less than 3 feet away, why should someone who has zero medical knowledge (radiation safety courses, strategies to reduce radiation exposure, policies of who can push the little button to deliver a dose of radiation which are required on a yearly basis) be trusted to be delivering doses of radiation to the public at large when there are other safer, less carcinogenic options?
