If you book an award rental online, it seems to compute the taxes for your rental. I presume those are accurate?

A bit of a bummer for me because the rate I'm getting for a summer week out of ANC is like $750. It will take that off, but then still leave me with almost $200 in "taxes."

That makes me want to use a code with another car rental company where the base rate is so much lower, and therefore the taxes are lower. In other words, not worth using points if it's still going to cost me almost $200.
