If they are using these strip search machines instead of the WTMD....... Has anyone considered that all the metal parts of a Glock semi-automatic hand gun and the ammunition are sized and shaped in such a way that a determined bad guy could pretty easily .........ahhhh.....emmmmm...... carry them..... internally ...and the remaining plastic frame would easily go through the x-ray in a carry-on bag and the handgun could be easily reassembled in a lav or wherever.

While this would perhaps be unpleasant for the perpetrator, it would be frighteningly easy and requires no special skills. The WTMD would easily catch such a gun. Such a plan would never work with a WTMD. Strip search machine??????? VERY easy to bring a handgun through. Just a little 'unpleasant'

Anyone want to wager how long before we see handguns become a regular part of future terror incidents?

I feel far less safe AND my rights are being violated AND my tax dollars are being flushed down the toilet.
