Even if AT&T has such a plan, the fact that they hide it makes me glad my two year affair with them is over. And the phone didn't work in Japan.

My BlackBerry 9700 works fine in Japan.
I am happy you are on Verizon, I wish more at&t customers followed your lead. In the US the network is over subscribed.
