I think the entire group is missing one point that even TK seems to have missed. Medical X-Rays have a significantly higher power output (and variable output) than TSA X-rays and AIT’s do. Micro-rems or watts for TSA, and I couldn’t even begin to guess for medical. But medical units can and do penetrate far into what they are imaging. Worth investigating I would say.
Radiation exposure is cumulative. Radiation is radiation whether it comes from a scanner at the airport or elsewhere.
