Let's look at the map working roughly E-W: Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Harrisburg, Albany, Newburgh. From Chicago as of 11/15, every single one of these cities is all-RJ to Chicago.

Why does anybody think that HPN will be spared??

the one and only reason would be money since compared to HPN, all of those "other" secondary airports you mentioned don't have squat for household average income within a 15 mile radius of the airport.

but the RJ scenario remains the likeliest in the post-F100 era.
