Let's look at the map working roughly E-W: Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Harrisburg, Albany, Newburgh. From Chicago as of 11/15, every single one of these cities is all-RJ to Chicago.
Why does anybody think that HPN will be spared??
AA's plan is clear: from Chicago eastward, any secondary airport or smaller city under 750 miles goes to a 44-seat RJ.
I wish AA would at least compensate for the reduced ORD capacity to these cities by adding Eagle frequencies to (BOS or LGA) and STL.
