Bottom line is I amazed what a rip off Zambia is: Visa cost for Brits is sky hi. Flights from Lusaka to VF is $350 US each for 60 mins. Hotel cots are also sky hi.
This is not going to be as cheap as I thought. Hmm Not much change out of £1000.00 for a few nights. I am going to have to consider this one!!
It's not that bad. Don't fly from Lusaka to VF! You need a rental car anyway so drive to Livingstone. Hotels in Lusaka are of course expensive if you're looking at the business hotels. I can recommend Chita Lodge. It's a small hotel with a nice pool. Try to get the rooms facing the pool ^ It's located in a residential area and you can easily walk to the Arcades or Manda Hills shopping malls.
