Going from 1/8 to 8/8 overnight seems a little atypical. And while premium travel has certainly picked up recently, I doubt that full F cabins are the norm. Our three LH First flights in the past two months (all SFO-MUC or back) have been 2/8, 4/8 with only one 8/8. Even then, a full 346 is still a most enjoyable experience.
And no, we never use or keep the jammies.
