Maybe I'm behind the times (again)...the windshield mounts that came with my two garmin had adhesive backs and not flip levers? Didn't know they offer the latter these days....

Never tried the windshield mounts, just threw them out. I do recall thinking didn't like the additional wire (charger) hanging down from windshield.

Anyway, it appears both are popular options. Amazon lists the beanbag type dash mounts as top 1-10 with 1 or 2 windshield levers closely behind.
