Thanks for all the responses, it's interesting seeing peoples' different points of view. I appreciate your sentiments Flyingfox, and you're right, but I do also appreciate the humour in the fact that this is still something I think about. Of course, it's not because I feel I've suffered some major injustice, I just wish I'd done something to immediately defuse and 'own' the situation rather than meekly comply. Maybe I've been watching too many movies!

For the record, this isn't something I've mentioned to anyone else. FT is the only place I felt this minor incident might be worth sharing!
