Her solution? She found a supervisor who was simply able to unlock the seats, and presto, they were mine!

Now flying First on CX, JFK-HKG / HKG-PER, and then DPS-HKG / HKG-SFO.

The BA exec club people ROCK for going the extra mile (bad pun) to find me the seats I saw!

Just wanted to let you all know in case you ran into similar problems.
