+1 here. Just received my replacement card after an account compromise and it does look cheap and generic. However, the card now has the "World Elite" rather than the old "World" designation on the back, this may coincide with the change in card benefits.
I do see that if you go to
http://mycontinentalcards.com that the Mastercard logo has mysteriously reappeared.... so this should appear on future PPMC cards after their initial stock is depleted.
To be frank, my earlier appraisal - where I commented that I liked it - was in error. I have to agree that it does feel cheap and look difficult to use. However, I wonder how much moving the MC logo to the front does to help matters. With the numbers still on the back, it still looks like a promotional device. At least with everything only on the back, they flip it over, thinking you gave it to the backwards.
