As far as I know, this is the first year there has been serious enforcement.
Note that the bag vendors seem to have changed their products now- it looks like Vuitton etc, but if you look closely it is not- therefore they are not illegal as they are not portraying a specific company logo (same with Gucci, Prada, etc).
