you will need "at least" 1200TP for that, because BA is resetting to 0 and not just deducting 400 (resp. 800) Tier points.
So if you are blue with 395TP and do one long haul sector in F (180TP) you'll get to Silver and 0TP, effectively wasting 175TP.
