Great Britain is the geographical name for the island consisting of Wales, Scotland and England. Hence the fact that we are technically Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Technically, 'British' may not include Northern Ireland. Re Premier in 1F: i doubt is was a Premier personally (although sounds a right prat). Most Premiers whom I know of are very understated and quite secure in their person. This man was neither.
