My wife reports the rule in effect on her EWR-SJU trip today. To the extent that the rule has any degree of reasonableness it only does out of EWR. Landing in San Juan with empty tanks etc. the rule is simply preposterous.

She also reported that security at EWR was particularly offensive this morning. I guess its time to ratchet up the fear level in anticipation of the upcoming election.
