For the first time that I can recall, we were told by the pilot on a run I did yesterday, Thursday, September 12th JFK/LGB/JFK that we could not leave our seats during the first 30 minutes after takeoff and the 30 minutes before landing. If anyone did, our plane would be diverted! Is this something new or just 9/11 jitters?
