It's true, I think most FTers are used to colder climes.
I usually set my hotel room to 25C low, anything colder will very uncomfortable for me. Most Singaporeans are similarly acclimatized to higher temps and as there will be a large proportion of locals flying out from Singapore especially in Y, so setting the temp higher will be reasonable.
