If seats are available, they will be confirmed 24 hours before the flight departs. If they are not available, the computer will keep trying automatically until 2 or 4 (I don't remember which) hours before the flight departs. Once you check in at the airport, and you UG's haven't cleared you need to be put back on the UG list.
