AS vs. Partner miles to get to MVPG?
A question: I'm at 24K AS/QX/Partner miles, but only 5K miles AS/QX only miles. I'll reach MVP by a flight this Thursday.

Looking ahead, it's possible I may be able to switch a big chunk of my flying to AS metal. My question is this: does the AS/QX vs. AS/QX/Partner miles "counter" switch over (i.e., I can now earn 20K of AS/QX miles vs. 30K AS/QX/Partner miles), or does it just keep ticking up what's present now?
