^Looks like it was a false alarm. This is what the message has been updated to say now:

Chase Extras and Leisure Rewards customers: Starting June 19, we'll change your current rewards program to Ultimate Rewards. For this reason, your debit card rewards details will be temporarily unavailable. Don't worry - you'll continue to earn rewards on purchases you make without your PIN.
