Not sure if anyone has started a thread on this in the past, but this is a similar situation. Has anyone here ever seen people going to the lounge and taking food and drinks that weren't staying on the Executive floors?

While you need a key to get on the 23rd floor at Palmer house if there is an attendant in the lounge they never ask to see the key. Once I was staying there as a gold when golds still had access to the lounge if they weren't upgraded and there was a high school dance convention going on and I saw some girls go up to the EL with one of their girlfriends staying on 23 and literally fill up a bag with cans of sodas and removing take them back down. I also someone waiting by the express elevators once and got in and rode up to 23 with me and I noticed he headed right for the appetizers and I am sure if he was staying there he wasn't staying on 22 or 23 since he was just waiting by the elevator.

I am surprised hilton doesn't have some kind of control over all their lounges that require a room key to get in them (of course the poachers wll just follow someone in that does have a key) and that they don't use fountain drinks instead of canned to make stealing coke harder.
