Forget the privacy issues -- while I'm sure some awesome lawsuits will hit until the TSA folks get some sense beaten into them -- the real problem is going to be that these scanners are just too slow for high-volume traffic.

There are going to be riots during peak travel periods at busy airports.

P.S. -- for those who missed it, there are already reports in the Wall Street Journal of far more "good-looking women" being directed to the body-scanner machines than would be statistically expected.
Not only are they slow and expose people to dangerous radiation if of the Backscatter type they don't detect explosives!
