I wound up standing in the scanner machine for probably 10 seconds, then waiting in front of an embarrassed looking TSA guy for anouther 10 seconds or more while my image was "analyzed".

Forget the privacy issues -- while I'm sure some awesome lawsuits will hit until the TSA folks get some sense beaten into them -- the real problem is going to be that these scanners are just too slow for high-volume traffic.

There are going to be riots during peak travel periods at busy airports.

P.S. -- for those who missed it, there are already reports in the Wall Street Journal of far more "good-looking women" being directed to the body-scanner machines than would be statistically expected.
