I see you are UA-1P. Maybe you are doing pretty good on getting upgrades? That, I could understand. If you are based out of PHX and have to go to LAS regularly, I could not imagine going with anyone except Southwest, unless you are getting a high percentage of upgrades with US.

If you are near ISP and you want to get home the easiest way, I would think it is easier to fly out of ISP than the commute to JFK/LGA where you could catch UA and then go first class.
I get what he is saying, as a fellow PHX based person. WN is pleasant in small does but the line ups and so forth get much more daunting when done frequently, as do the crowds..but most of all, as somone who does the LAS run frequently, USairways has been somewhat cheaper of late for that same route. Upgrades on USairways are not that big a deal for a 52 minute flight, I can hack coach for a short one like that..what I find though, is that LAS-PHX is harder to come by than PHX-LAS, so when I return I usually go with WN, but I make sure I take a flight after 930pm mid week to avoid the cattle call..usually only 30 or so people on it.
