Is a RDM more or Less Costly than a FEQM?
Knowing Chase has to buy the miles they "give" us, and noting the recently more generous FEQMs given via the PP card, I'm wondering if a redeemable mile is more costly for Chase to buy than a flexible elite qualifying mile. RDMs are more directly usable as cash-like vehicles, whereas FEQMs can only confer status, which is less directly "spendable." What do you think?
