Code Shares within Single Partner Awards
BA UK call center told me that Code Shares were ok within Single Partner Awards (BA US said no) but when agents try to book using the code share flight number it did not show availability, whereas under the operating carrier it shows availability. Will this always be the case, such that the same result obtains, that code shares are not allowed?
Example: trying to do Single Partner with all AA flight numbers, 6JULY AA7720 SCL-MDZ, operated as LA930) is not available as AA7720 but is as LA930
[My BA acct is UK-registered, but my fathers is euro-registered if rules are different by area (I know the fees vary.)]
