Yes, but most flights to Europe from North America fly through North America's "night." So you have a relatively sleepless night on the plane, arriving at let's say 3am on your body's clock, then you stay up all day upon arrival.

Whereas a daytime flight would feel like a long day to you, with a very late bedtime.
