All - need guidance on booking family of 4, Platinum, Fr-Mo in August.

I'm tempted to use 11.5k points per night for a Grande Deluxe Queen, as it includes the buffet breakfast & evening cocktails. However, do Platinums get these benefits regardless of room type? Paid rates also attractive, though I face the same issue. Grande Suite (paid rate) also not out of the question.

Thoughts?
