Has anyone else had this experience ?

They say there is a bulge in the tyre and a scratch to an alloy and are therefore charging £260.33

The car was rented for a day, in their first letter they say "Our vehicle damaged on OR ABOUT the above date". Followed by you should have looked at every inch of the car before signing - we trust the rental companys to be honest, we need to get on with our jobs !

Please note the car already had 4 scratches which were on the list. Had these been charged for and not fixed ?
