If you're in for a drive I highly recommend driving down the Cape peninsula to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Absolutley beautiful and you can even see penguins on the way down. You could also drive out to wine country. In Cape Town, you should go to the top of Table Mountain. There's also a lot of good restaurants in the area.
