I apologize if this has been covered before. I searched, but didn't see anything.

Just got back from dropping my son & his gf at the airport for an AA domestic award trip. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they received 2 free bags and PriorityAAcess (AA's SkyPriority) that I'm assuming came about because I had to book them for AAnytime awards (50k miles each).

Does DL give the same extras? With the scarcity of DL low awards, it would ease the pain a little if DL would offer free bags and SkyPriority for those travelling on medium/high award tickets. They could even throw in "Have one on us" coupons, preferred seating and SkyClub entrance for the days of travel without it really costing DL much. Since I tend to use my miles on awards for family/friends who typically don't have any status, it would be a nice bonus for them and make me feel a little better about having to use the extra miles
