I've had my U.S. DC Mastercard for years. The card has nothing to do with anything corporate. I applied for it as a regular individual and not through a company. I've been using it for everyday purchases for years and years. It's never been declined. I've never been hit with extra fees. It has never dissapointed me in any way.

Here's the thing though: I use my points for non-airline rewards, like for amazon gift cards for example. I'm now wondering if I'm doing the right thing by having the DC card. Is the annual fee worth it? It seems every other card has the same point/reward exchange rate (assuming we're not talking about airline ticket rewards, which as I mentioned I'm not interested in).

I'm starting to think that it's not worth it anymore. And now with BOM taking over soon, I don't even know what to expect.

I'm also getting worried because I have only one other credit card. I've never bothered applying for other cards since I was so happy with the DC card. I would hate for BOM to dump me, and leave me with my $500 credit line capital one card. Should I start shopping for a new card ASAP? Or do you think that no matter what happens, BOM still won't dump existing users? I have excellent credit, and I can't seem to find anything comparable to DC.

Any good websites that have a listing of all the credit cards in the U.S.? or a website that helps you choose the right card? Should I even be thinking about replacing DC after I heard about the BOM take over? I love DC so much, and would rather keep it if possible.

Any thoughts/advice/tips would be very much appreciated!
