The other day I had an AKL-SIN on 777-300ER in J. The cabin temp was the worst I have experienced by far.

After a very polite request, FSM advised setting was 28 deg C! Outside was about 12 deg C. Agreed to lower to "min" 24 deg C. Other pax also kindly requested to lower further but to no avail.

Bugger it. The only solution to get some sleep was to strip off.
