I have seen a few weird things recently, but I didn't watch too closely since I was already upgraded. ATL-BOS they agent was selling F-seats and the # of available F seats was indeed going down on the screen ... there were 4 with 1 pax waiting on the upgrade list. In the end the pax was still on the UG list and all F seats were taken. Now I don't know how/why that pax was on the list and others were cleared before.
Generally I think battlefields are processed correctly ... expect for new revs
