Ive done that before, but 1) was lazy, 2) almost wanted to get caught, to see if they are really checking or enforcing. It was almost done and is why I tried it

I use Tom's of Maine 12 hour deodorant, which is a clear solid. It is not a gel, liquid, creme or paste. I have kept it in my toiletry bag, separate from my Freedom Baggie and never taken it out every time I have flown since the restrictions came into effect in 2006. Never had a problem. If some TSO tried something, you better believe Brittney Spears and her ice would come up if a 4 year history of the same activity didn't work.
I just got an Old Spice solid gel, I m going to try to pack it separately and not with my liquids the next time.
