Anyone know what the Boeing 777-200 Business Class is like on Air France?
Not quite sure if this is the right place to post this, but anyway...
Situation is, family and I (inclusive of a 9 year old and 14 year old) are off to NYC this summer (great!). We've managed to book tickets on Air France (again, good news) and on Business Class (Great news!)
As someone who enjoys flying but suffers mild aviophobia, I was looking forward to flying on the A380 from CDG to NYC. The business class looked amazing and the reviews (smooth take off, limited noise) seemed like it would help ease my flight fears as well as go on my first double decker air line and the benefits that come with it (the galley etc.)
Thing is, I just realised we've been booked on the next flight after we arrive at CDG (We arrive 5-45 am and the next flight is 8-15 am). Not a bad stop over time, but that flight is a Boeing 777-200.
There doesn't seem to be much out there, but from the reviews I've read it's old, out dated, with poor IFE and is uncomfortable to sleep on? Is it true?
I could possibly get the tickets changed but the A380 doesn't leave until 13.15 or something like that. Which is a pretty big stop over. We all have schengen visas, so it may be possible to explore the city for a bit? But we're not too keen on that and will only go for it if there is a significant difference between the 777-200 and A380 or if the 777-200 deserves it's poor reviews etc.
Any help will be appreciated
