API OK stands for "Advanced Passenger Information OK". Required for international flights (though not sure if that includes US-Canada and US-Mexico flights or not) though I think I've heard of some non-international passengers ending up with it occasionally.
I had API-OK on my PHL-BOS flight. I believe it means that the Name, DOB, and Sex were entered correctly when the ticket was purchased.
