I really want them to follow published procedure. I know that at times I will be less inconvenienced by their willingness to bend the rules to my favor. This is vastly offset by the bending of the rules to create hassles for me where they are not justified by law, regulation or procedure.

Just follow your own rules, you know, like we have to. If it is a dumb rule, change it.
