Hi all,
I have a question about AA`s gate location at CDG. I will be meeting my mother in Paris for a vacation, and I have booked her in C class on AA back to JFK. I will be departing an hour or two later back to NRT, most likely on JAL or AF (haven`t booked yet).
I would like to be able to be with my mother until she boards her AA flight, which leaves from Aerogare 2 terminal A. My flight (again, an hour or so later) will leave from Aerogare 2 terminal F (whether JAL or AF).
My question is simply whether or not as a passenger on JAL or AF, I will be able to enter 2A, wait in the Admirals club with my mother (I assume she is entitled to bring a guest, she is traveling on a paid C class ticket), and walk her to the gate? In other words, is it possible to walk from 2F to 2A without going through separate security, etc??
I have been to paris quite a few times, but have never taken notice of AA`s position relative to AF`s at this airport.
My mother is traveling alone back to new york and I would like to be with her until she boards the plane to ensure that she is comfortable and gets through the airport easily.
Second question, for my booking, which carrier has a better business class, AF or JAL? Both use 777, and have angled lie flat C class seats.
Thanks in advance for any information/advice! I appreciate it

Admirals Club
Location details: Terminal 2A, after Passport Control to the round satellite by Gate A37-39, taking the escalator down.
Opening hours: Daily 07:30-22:30

The Admirals Club is located in the Terminal 2-A Satellite terminal, which includes Gates 37-38-39; for all other flights, one must include about 10 minutes to access the gates in the main terminal 2A. The Admirals Club also serves as the club for Air Austral, Air Madagascar, British Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, Etihad Airways, Oman Air, Royal Jordanian and XL Airways, so it can get crowded.
The Club is split - to your right (as you face the reception desk) are computer carrels (several with Internet-connected computers) and a small self-service station with limited beverages (including a coffee machine); to your left is the main and larger area, with more extensive offerings (but sometimes very crowded).
In addition to the American Airlines Admirals Club, as of Sep, 2012, this was the current list of oneworld lounges at CDG - be sure to check the oneworld lounge search tool for the latest info:
