Funny name on ticket -- will I have trouble checking in?

Later this month, I'm flying in a group of about 16 on a reservation ticketed by TK, CLE-ORD-IST. The CLE-ORD segment is on United metal.

It looks like each individual in our group has their own TK e-ticket number, but there are four of us on a single UA PNR -- we're probably bunched in fours.

That's all fine. Here's the thing: my name is "A B-C" (first name and hyphenated last name) and the ticket is issued in the name "B C" (the first half of my last name appears as my first name).

When I called UA, they were happy to add my MP# to the reservation (I couldn't do it online - it said the name on the ticket didn't match the name on the MP account, which, no surprise). It appears online with an 'X' after the number

The tour operator assures us that this is no problem -- "We filled out another form to match your passport" -- but I can see the e-ticket and the UA PNR, and they're both clearly in the name "B C".

Is the name mismatch going to pose a problem when our group goes to check in at CLE? Or will someone just take a look at my 1K card and passport, type in the passport number, and wave me through? (All those names on the ticket are *on* my passport.)

I raised this problem with the tour operator, but should I press it especially hard, or just play dumb and see what happens at the airport?
