Not wishing to tempt fate or anything.....
When connecting to a partner airline on an AA coach award ticket, what is likely to happen if we miss the connection? My connection to BA thru YYZ is tight and there is another flight to LHR an hour later. But seeing as our four seats are non-revenue, is BA obliged to find seats for us? An AA agent booked the 1hr 35 min connection so I'm assuming it is legal.

I am not a very frequent flyer, and rarely do I fly overseas, so I'd appreciate a bit of advice should we not make our connection.
