I've stayed at a number of Hamptons and Fairfields. Between the two I'd opt for the Hampton normally, as they have higher quality beds and other furnishings. I also like their breakfast a bit better. Fairfields are broadly comparable but there's a bit too much obvious cost-cutting in them.
