I'm holding two J reservations on Qantas for next March, calling periodically to see if any F seats open up. I figured I'd give up at 22 days out to avoid the expedite fee. With the new changes in holding award seats, should I just bite the bullet and ticket them now? (Maybe I won't have any choice but to do so?) Or could it actually become more likely that F award seats will open up? (Sigh, I guess that's a bit optimistic...) My current hold period expires 9/2.
