Even so, in my estimation it is not a bad lounge. I've been there twice this year and even with the reduction it is larger and more comfortable than other BA lounges (such as my hometown lounge in Seattle).
As long as you do not frequent the lounge for top level food offerings--hardly any have them--I would think that Manchester would be considered at least above average, if not better, by most travelers.
