On 3 of 4 recent DL flights, there was no pre-flight drink offered in First. I just assumed this was another inexcusable cost-cutting measure on Delta's part, or an (even more inexcusable) work-reducing measure on the FAs part. I always see the water bottles. (Better than nothing, but who cares about water at 7 p.m. when you've fought cross-town traffic and security lines after a hard day's work? You want nothing more than a comfortable chair and something cold that will cut taught nerves like icey scissors...)
